The people. My travel arrangements got changed several times at very short notice because of weather and technical issues affecting my flights but the people at Bella Vista were very helpful, understanding and flexible. The room was warm on arrival (late on a cold winter night) well equipped and comfortable. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Great location close to Kaikoura township, nice and quiet, clean tidy rooms. Julia was really helpful and moved us into Unit 15 upstairs with a great view even during a busy holiday time of year (Christmas). Unit 3 downstairs was lovely too, with good sized room, table, bathroom etc. Great place to stay.

Overnight motorcycle trip. Good safe flat parking. Great price for early April. Lovely atmosphere with the resident cats which won’t bother you if you’re not into cats either. Close walk to town via the shortcut. Room had everything you need and was modern.

Location was great and close to most activities we wanted to do. Easy to find on the main road. Room was comfortable enough for the one night. Plenty of parking and was able to part right out front of room.
